apologise most sincerely the embarrassment this my letter might cause as we have never met before.my names is MR JAMES WILLIAMS I am the personal assitant to the manager,bill and exchange department in ANCHOR TRUST BANK PLC .Iam writing in respect of an expatriate customer of ours who died about three years ago in a car accident along Lagos-Ibadan express road leaving $20.600,000 his account with our bank. All efforts to trace his relations of next of kin have proved abortive and the baking lawsand guidlines stipulate that if such money remains unclaimed after four years,it will be treated as unclaimed and reverted to the banks treasury.It is in view of the above that two other senior officers of the bank and i decieded to contact you to stand as her next of kin to enable us transfer the money to you (since we Nigerians canot stand as her next of kin).Therefore,you are expected to declare your intreast and preparedness to take possession ofthis fund for our mutual benefit.The ratio of sharing and disbursement shall be discussed and agreed upon after we recieve your response.
